Mat Investigates: Banjo Kazooie 3

Yesterday I discovered (To my HORROR!) that Banjo Kazooie's platforming mechanics were being overhauled and replaced with a Mech-based action mechanic and that it would use the 360 Wii-Mote Knockoff. That seemed kind of odd. So I thought I'd look into it today.
As it were, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts will employ a Mech mechanic, but the game will not ditch the game's platforming roots entirely. The Mechs allow you to get from point A to point B, do battle with Gruntilda the Witch, and accomplish tasks for Jiggies. The game is said to be 70% mechs, 30% BK platforming. I'm not amused, but it is better than a full-blown Mech Fighting game. The Mechs are fully customisable, and can be driven on either land, sea, or air, depending on how you build it. XBox Live will also be employed.
Rare shouldn't have left Nintendo, this game would work SO well on Wii. Especially considering...
The 360 Wii-Mote-esque controller, codenamed Newton, was rumoured to be employed in BK:N+B. After yesterday's press conference, I can safely say, Newton probably won't see the light of day, let alone be used in Nuts and Bolts.
I'm still going to check this game out, and you'll have my full review come November.
