I... love... this... game! I love it SO much! If you haven't picked up a copy yet, do so now! This game is the best possible spiritual sequel to Super Mario 64, and really takes 3d platforming somewhere else. Like what Portal was to FPS, Galaxy is to platformers. This game's camera was FULLY automated, but control is given to you in some places. I have heard somewhere along the line, "This game will suck because they'll stick to a space/planetoid level design like Sunshine did with Isle Delfino." I am glad to say, such is not the case. There are still a lot of turrain-based galaxies to explore, Honeyhive, Beach Bowl, and Ghostly Galaxies refrain from many planetoids.
The Wii Remote makes for great control of this game, including the WarioWare-esqe gesture-based mini-games (not side-games like super Mario 64 DS) like Ray-Surfing and Star Gravitating.
One thing wrong here...if you have ever beaten one level of Pac-Man, your gaming prowess will make you breeze through this game and never Game Over once. It's really easy to beat, but adversely, collecting 120 stars is a time-consuming and sometimes difficult task.
With awesome everything, but with a far too easy pick-up-and-play experience, and a super secret unlockable, (Luigi. Ha ha, I ruined it for you!) this game gets a six out of six.
